This is me at 5 years old on East Cemetery Hill
I am a Maryland based photographer with a deep focus on Gettysburg and American history. My goal is to capture moments that feel real and give viewers a sense of what life may have felt like in those earlier times. Living history photography is the work I enjoy the most, and I aim to keep each image as authentic and honest as possible.
I grew up visiting Gettysburg on occasion and later returned with a camera, which opened a new appreciation for the landscape, the people, and the stories that still live here. Every trip teaches me something new and pushes me to improve. My hope is that my images help preserve the past and allow others to experience these moments in a meaningful way.

I visit Gettysburg as often as I can and spend most of my time walking the town, exploring the battlefield, and capturing the people who help keep history alive. My work has developed around those who have a connection to this historic town and help promote its history.
Rachell and I have been married for 33 years, celebrating our anniversary on Christmas Eve. We have an adventurous son, Jordan who lives in Santa Barbara with his wife, Jess. We are looking forward to seeing our family grow and being a part of their lives.
